Annette was born in Los Angeles and grew up there, in the Valley, and in Mexico. Her mom was a Romanian immigrant, born to Eastern European Orthodox Jews, and her dad was Mexican American. There were many directions Annette’s spiritual life could have taken, but glory to God, she was saved at age 13 and shortly after was baptized in the ocean at Pismo Beach.

While at Los Angeles Valley College in the Journalism Department, Annette met Kevin. Their lifelong friendship began there. They were married in 1978 and have five grown children, and a granddaughter on the way! Ryan, their eldest, is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Pasadena. Ryan also serves on the Vineyard Worship Team as a guitarist and a sound tech, and helps as a chef and server at Vineyard events whenever possible. Middle daughter Carol is a graduate of University of Phoenix  in business management and makes her home in Bakersfield with her husband Brian. Middle son Daniel is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University. Daniel and wife Stephanie organize an annual Red Cross blood drive at the Vineyard. Daughter Lauren serves on the Vineyard Worship Team as a pianist and a vocalist, and manages our Vineyard Cafe Bookstore. Daughter Jasmine is a freshman at CSUN, majoring in Creative Writitng.

Kevin and Annette also have many of what Annette likes to call “Sons- and Daughters-of-the-Heart” through foster care and through the Vineyard college group.

Annette is the Receptionist and Bookkeeper as well as the coordinator of WoVen Women’s Ministries at the Vineyard. She is a graduate of CSUN. Annette also teaches Spanish to homeschoolers and has been involved in various ministries and missions through the years. Currently Annette is enrolled in the Vineyard Institute.
