Vineyard School of Discipleship: Going Deeper in Bible Study

Going Deeper in Bible Study with Michelle Klein

The Bible was not designed to be read casually as simply good literature, as a contribution to our historical learning, or even as an interesting exercise in academic theology. The Bible was given to us specifically for transformation. Jesus prayed to the father in John 17:17, “Use the truth to make them complete. Your Word is truth.” Transformation only occurs when we truly KNOW God’s Word and not just have knowledge of God’s Word. As we grow in Christ, it’s important that we learn to dig deep into the Word of God for ourselves and not depend solely on the instruction of others. The writer of Hebrews stated that, “Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil (Hebrews 5:13,14 NIV).
This class will teach you how to dig deep into Scripture and uncover profound truths that, when grasped, can transform your life in ways you’ve never imagined.
