Get to know me.

At the end of a recent Vineyard Vacation Bible School, I had the opportunity to invite the children to the altar to pray and give their lives to Christ.  I was blown away when 30 kids came forward!  To get a front row seat, to see those seeds planted in young lives, changed for eternity—that’s what Children’s Ministry is all about.

It has been my honor to serve as the Children’s Ministry Pastor since 2009.  I love seeing the kids’ eyes light up when they express their understanding of the lessons and especially when they memorize Bible verses.  My goal is to provide a safe, encouraging environment where the children of the Valley Vineyard can begin to cultivate their spiritual walk with the Lord. My hope is that they will grow up with the knowledge of a loving Father God and understand his goodness to them through worship, teaching that engages, and heartfelt service to others.

My education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater and the Leadership Certificate from Vineyard Institute.  Before becoming a children’s pastor, my education experience was as a homeschooler to my kids and teaching group homeschool classes.

The Valley Vineyard has always been like my second home. It is a precious church family that I’ve truly felt blessed to be a part of since 1995. I live in Granada Hills with my husband Jim and our three grown children, Ryan, Ian, and Megan, when she’s home from college. I enjoy gardening, camping, and watching Megan play softball.
