As many of you know, the recent fires in Los Angeles have caused devastating loss, grief, and trauma for many in our city. At one point, fires surrounded us on all sides—north, east, south, and west—leaving many feeling scared and overwhelmed by the destruction.
We are grateful to be partnering with Convoy of Hope, an organization that consistently shows up in times of disaster. This Saturday, they will be delivering a truckload of 26 pallets’ worth of supplies to our church, and we have the opportunity to be a blessing to those in need.
Ways You Can Help
📦 Help Unload the Truck – This Saturday at 9 AM
We are looking for 15 volunteers to offload the truck and organize the supplies in the street-side room by the food pantry. Right now, we have 8 people signed up, so if you’d like to join, please email [email protected]. We want to make sure we have just the right number of hands on deck!
🎁 Help Distribute Supplies
Once the supplies are organized, we will need help distributing them to those affected by the fires. If you’d like to be part of this effort, please email Aisha at [email protected] or fill out the form below.
🙏 Pray
Please pray for restoration, strength for our firefighters, and comfort for those who have lost so much. This recovery process will take years, and our prayers matter.
💙 Give
We have established a Valley Vineyard Disaster Relief Fund to provide direct assistance to those in need within our reach. If you’d like to contribute, please visit vvinfo.org/give and select “Disaster Relief.”
Thank you for being a church that cares for the community by loving and serving our city in its time of need . May God give us beauty for ashes in the City of Angels.
