Hospitality Team
The hospitality ministry exists to serve, care and bless our church family and guests so they feel welcomed, loved and open to encountering Jesus.

Expectations
Responsibilities (Food and Drink)
- Hospitality team serves on Sunday mornings at 9am to prepare for service, and at 12:30pm to clean up after service. There are other events throughout the year that we can always use help with!
- Prepare and serve coffee (regular and decaf), hot water and available juice
- Bagel pickup from Western Bagel (once a month)
- Prepare and serve bagels, croissants, muffins and fresh fruit
- Serve cream cheese, string cheese, creamer, hot tea, hot chocolate, napkins, plates and utensils
- Everything for service should be in the lobby by 10:20am on Sundays
Responsibilities (Communion)
- Prepare all communion bread and grape juice on trays in the kitchen (about 100 of each on four bread baskets, with four trays of juice
- Set up and remove communion trays before and after service (four locations)
Expectations
- Hospitality team should help visitors and members feel noticed, welcomed and valued. One way we do this is through providing food, drinks, etc.. Another is by being present and available for new people
- Team should reflect the character of Jesus, not customer service. We strive for something deeper than being nice: we want to help every person feel seen
- Work as part of a larger team. This includes showing up on your scheduled Sunday, being on time, prepared, aware of serving procedures (posted in kitchen)
- If you are unable to serve on your scheduled day, try to find a replacement
