The Prayer Team at Valley Vineyard exists to intercede on behalf of our church and members so that we can express the heart and love of God and provide practical spiritual support.

There are three avenues of service:

1. Sunday Morning Prayer: being available for the church body during/after service every Sunday 
2. Intercessory Prayer: praying on behalf of immediate issues of church family and their friends and family
3. Intensive Prayer: extensive prayer for overwhelming issues in individuals lives.

Expectations & Onboarding
All members of the prayer team are expected to take an 8 week course offered once a year to help prepare them for confidential prayer and ministry in the church.
Sunday morning prayer team is called up to the front typically after the message and communion to be available for those who wish prayer. Please be in service and ready to come forward when called.
Intercessory Prayer is on an as needed basis, including praying through weekly church prayer list emails. This may be done with or without others from the team.
Intensive Prayer consists of a team of three people, at a time and place coordinated by the individual receiving prayer, and typically lasts 1 ½ hrs.

Each member of this team is expected model a life of character, exemplary prayer, and commitment to Valley Vineyard and our members. 
You can expect to be scheduled once a month for Sunday morning prayer, and as needed for Intercessory/Intensive prayer.
