Get to know me.

I grew up in the church, watching my mom serve as the Children’s Ministry Director, and from the time I could, I jumped in to serving in children’s ministry! In college, while earning my degree in Early Childhood Education, God opened a door for me to walk alongside a child with autism. That experience and his life truly planted a deep love for disability work and a desire to serve and support kiddos through advocacy. That only grew as I taught, worked in behavioral therapy, and served in church ministry in different capacities.

After nearly five years as a behavioral therapist, God led our family into full-time Children’s Ministry in Culver City, where He also grew our family through adoption. While we did not know at the time, our daughter, Selah, was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy and other complex needs, forever changing our hearts and how we saw the world. We began to see it more through her eyes and her unique needs! We longed for a church where she—and our family—would be fully seen and welcomed for all that we were and brought to the Body of Christ.

From my first conversation with Pastor Jimmy, I knew Valley Vineyard was that place. In continued conversations with Pastor Mike and the rest of the staff, my heart continued to hope for what would be for my family and others raising kids with disabilities!

I am grateful to have been invited into this work in weaving together my love for the Church and my heart for advocacy and inclusion. Alongside my husband, Giuseppe, and our daughter, Selah, we are excited to be a part of this family!

Along side the work I get to do at Valley Vineyard, I am excited to also be doing ministry through my nonprofit, A Seat At The Table Ministries which was born from a desire to walk with families raising children with disabilities and equipping churches in doing the Kingdom work of being the hands and feet of Jesus for families affected by disabilities.

God knows our stories, and I am deeply grateful His story for us led here.
